How to create a smiley logo

Here you will learn how to create a smiley logo.

Step 1: First of all start with a new 350 by 350px white document.
Step 2: Create a new layer and fill it with #e2e2e2 using the paint bucket tool.

Step 3: Using the Rounded rectangle tool (or simply press U) create a rectangle with a radius of 21px holding shift down to create a square shape.

Step 4: Press on the layer thumbnail and change the color to #aeff00.
Step 5: Right click on the layer with the shape and select Blending Options, apply the following settings:

You should now have something like this:

Step 6: Using the text tool add your own text. To rotate the text after appling it, press Ctrl + T to access the transformation tool.

Step 7: Add the folowing settings to the layer (Right click on the layer and select Blending Options):
